My car has been sold to a really nice chap. I know he will look after her or maybe mod her more.
I know that you guys will welcome him with open arms.
He has loved 190's for years and now he owns one.
His name is Dave so keep an eye out for him.

Hi to you all,
Thought I'd better introduce myself, I own an original 190 2.0 (Carb) 1985 - 110k - genuine. Must admit I have really enjoyed this car which I have had for a long time now and am not about to change it. Because this was from the Merc era when they really built them, and they were built to last.

Quote from Merc190uk "Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV; and the most British thing of all? Suspicion of anything foreign."

My reply:
Sorry I don't understand I live in Cornwall. Is there anywhere else? I also work for the Dockyard, I drive the cheapest car I can find, Can't afford to drink beer or eat out, the only curry I know of is what emmits ask for in a pasty, pasties are called Cornish Kebabs to help the tourists to understand what they are, I don't have any furniture we burnt it this winter to stay warm, Sheep are much softer to sit on but they make the room smell, Liskeard has a telly in a nice wooden box, we all gather round it in the town hall on Saturday evenings to watch, It warms up Dreckly.

Hello and Welcome B)

Please start a new thread in "show off you 190" or post in "Newbies"
Very nice, tyres look alittle on the large size for those wheels...
