Wossit mean when it says my 190 has this --> 650 sports chassis with 15-hole light alloy rims (ñ 01.12.1988 ïî 28.02.1993) What the heck is a 'sports chassis'? The wheels I can understand given that it still has them, but not the chassis bit? Cheers! P.S. I've moved house now, so the engine crane has been retrieved from me old garage ready to start work on the V8 exhaust again! Woohoo! |

It's a Sportline. Came as two possible options - Sportline suspension and / or Sportline interior. It was an expensive and desirable upgrade. Do a search. Your tyres should be 205/55/15 (185/65/15 is standard) & the rims are ½ an inch wider at 7½ - are they? |

Must be the sportline suspension then, 'cos it hasn't got the sportline interior - bonus! And yep, the wheels are (I think) 7.5x15 with 205/55/15 tyres (although I thought all 2.6s came with these?) You learn something new every day, cheers Neil! |

I'm pretty certain I've seen 2.6s with 185/55 tyres like the 2.0s. If my journey to work in the rain in my 2.0 this morning is anything to go by, it would be a real piece of cake to get the back out on a 2.6 with those tyres!! |
