Matt , it was not meant as curt question, (When I read it this morning I must say it looked that way) I was just curious to know why Mike 65 would buy that part on line. As they say it's not what you say it's the way that you say it. Sorry about that Mike 65 . :D

Still hav'nt got around to getting one,lol

I'am away with my work at the mo, and the guys i asked to get me one. Want to know the part number to make sure its right.

Dont suppose anyone knows it do they, it just on the side of the alloy
part and you can see it without removing it.

Does it activate when you are off the accelerator?

If so it's the deceleration (overrun) shutoff switch.

Would tell you the part number but the tech diagrams dont list any part numbers for it :unsure:

ok cheers, guys. Merc man says part no should be on the side of the throttle body, so i'll have a look at the weekend.
