That company has had that one up for sale quite a few times now. I'm sure it must be the same one as I'm sure they wont have made lots of 1.8 heads. its a much lower starting price this time around i think so they must be getting desperate to sell it. You might grab yourself a bargain there mate. Just out of interest, why are you not going to get a cossie anymore? Stu |

last time it was £125 buy it now, they closed the auction before the end because it was 'no longer available for sale', probably a private offer that fell through. |

Hey there.... Stay away from the guy, in my early days of looking for an upgrade to my Caterham I bought a k-series head of him, it was a joke, really rough porting work, silver painted head on top of uncleaned surface.... You are much better off getting an unported head and find someone to gas flow the ports which will give you more flow, then take a look at the valves to see if they can take anything larger.... this guy makes all sorts of claims and is known in the industry as one to avoid..... So endeth the advice..... Good luck with the upgrade plans though.... David |

thanks for the heads up dude ^^ reason im not going cossy is as follows am going to be using it dailyso fuel costs will increase risk of being an idiot and killing myself increase will want a custom interior anyway (not leather) dont like the body kit change bodykit and if i did that wil be tempted at a full custom paint respray striping mine and putting everything on it will make my 1.8 useless to sell for a decent price want a 2nd project car (skyline 96 LE) insurance will go up will piss off the few freinds i have even more by not only having a merc, but a top of the range version of the model will piss off my dad as it will be faster than his 2.5 custom e30 bmw time money girlfriend already rants i spend to much time on the car\ there was a few other reasons but i cant remember right now basically the amount of money i would spend upgrading a single car to the cosworth, i could have finished off my 1.8 really nice and still have low insurance and petrol costs and started saving for my project car ^^ |
