All I can do is welcome you to the club, but you won't have to wait too long before some of the technical boys sort your problem.

Hi mate welcome
What exactly do you need to know about the level Ie: where is it??? Just to clarify the float level is just a float that hhh,mmm floats in the fuel chamber of the carb it has a shut of pin above it so that the carb does get over filled with fuel whilst running other wise your car would run like a dog or maybe not at all When the level gets to a certain point the float hits the shut off pin above it and stops any more fuel getting in when the level drops the pin is released and more fuel enters Hope this helps

Mate as far as I am aware and if i am wrong someone will soon correct me you just need to fit the float level and bolt the carb back together making sure your gaskets are replaced the level is predetermined by the float itself and the pin above it ?? Mind you last time I worked on carbs was on a vw bug solex about 3 years ago all cars I get in now have F injection Good luck mate if you are still unsure refer to a haynes manual |
