Hello everyone, I remember some time ago reading a very detailed topic posted regarding a member visiting a Bosch Service Centre to get there fuel injection system fully serviced and tuned etc. There were images and detailed results following. The topic must only be a few months old now. I Have been looking for this post for the past two days and cant find it anywhere!! If I recap anyones memory and they find the post, I will much appreciate it. Regards Chris |

That’s the one, just wanted to say a very late thank you! A Bosch service centre close to me has quoted me £82.50 to do what they do to a 190E. I don’t really know what they will do to the car exactly, and was wondering if anyone knows the procedure? My car has the common problem of stalling when stopping, failing to start and then low idle if it does idle once started and then having to drive it two footed to stop it stalling again until it decides to work properly again. Which often requires some messing around with the fuel mixture screw under and to the side of the air filter box. I have tried a number of things and none have solved the problem (OVP, Idle Control Valve, Throttle Mircoswitch, Plugs, Leads, Distributor Cap, Fluids, Filters to name a few), this is why I am considering giving them a visit. |

They should have a whole load of stuff about how the engines work (too much in fact!) - my parents garage is a Bosch service centre - but it is time consuming work so don't expect an instant fix. |
