Whats the state of play with the coolant? Is it clear or oilly sludge? (theres a differnce between rusty and the oil sludge :D ) Personnaly I would fix the current engine.

If she is refusing to the start check the spark plugs and if they are ok (not oily) then just clean and check the gaps. Check your dizzy cap and the rotor aswell. Clean out all the gunk and crap from the air filter. Mine always had oil in there aswell which was blown out of the breather. A good clean up and full service would help.

Anyother info on her? what temp does she run at, any funny noises? Cold start valve maybe?

Andy
