have change rotten arm, dizzy cap, spark plugs, ht leads air fillter . idles fine, engine flat under load .starts at 2nd attempt in the morning.takes a couple of secs to start when hot j reg. high fuel consumption <_< |

Outside chance it could be a Lambda sensor, When you say flat under load, does the engine fade when pressing the accelerator? Also not starting when hot, happened with my old 2.0 when the lambda sensor had blown. I blew the sensor by shorting the battery on a jump start. So if you,ve recently jump started the car, it could be that. |

check around fuel distributor, i had exact same symptoms and found some wires had come away from a sensor on the fuel distributor. Gez |
