Hello all,
Regretably the time has come to say goodbye to our family friend. Our 190 B reg (Mar 85) has to go owing to lack of use (we live in London NW1 and do not NEED a car). Been with wife (the car that is, not me) since 1989. The mileage is 59,950 and we do 300 miles a year (three HUNDRED miles).
It takes ages to start (I assume due to lack of regular use) but once started poodles along without mishap, passing MOTs without any problems.
Advice needed on waht to do: auction, sell privately or give to charity?
Regards
EE

Welcome!
You should try and post some pictures so we know what we're dealing with - there's
a how-to in the 190 Pictures section.
Seems a bit silly to give it away, there may well be somebody on here interested
in buying it from you.

NO DONT GIVE IT CHARITY, only if you dont want any money from it that is or you can give it to me, i dont mind :D

The car is low mileage and will easily get over £1000 depending on spec and condition of the car.

I would sell it on auctions or private sales etc.

Have you got any pictures?

Ohh by the way welcome ;)

What do you think?

Probably the best place to sell is LOOT or e-bay.

Best wishes

Try Pracical classics and auto trader first especilly seen as you can say its a low milage example and that it has been garaged, you may get more than you think for it.
Have a look at what other 190`s are being sold on autotrader.co.uk to give you an idea of how much you can ask for it.
Only Put it on Ebay as a last resort as cars always go for low amounts on ebay

Many thanks for all the replies. Put classified advert on ebay and am delighted to say have sold the car for four figures.
