HI guy's im a new member, and live in the west midlands area. i recently bought a 2.5 16v h reg 90. its got far more wrong with it then i first thought. The headgasket has gone or the head is cracked, strange banging comes from the back of the car. Some bolts are missing from the engine god knows what should be there, and a boat load of electrical problems as well, but i'm not put off in doin the work to sort this all out. If anybody has a cossy and is passing in the walsall area then give me a call. 07813124406 could realy do with some advice about the head. I would like to get the car fixed in time for the trip to germany on the 18th of this month. Or if u know about 2.5 16v backwards and can give some free advice it realy would be of help thank you. |

OK, lets break this down into some questions. 1/ Why do you think the headgasket/cylinderhead has failed. What are the symptoms? 2/ where is the banging coming from. Exhaust, suspension? Does it do it when its stationary or moving? Drawings of the engine and appropriate fixings can be found Here! What sort of electrical problems? Please be as specific as you can so we can do our best to help you! |
