Hi, Im Lee, just joined the forum as I have just bought a 190d 2.0 and I guess apart from engine differences, its not that much different to a 190e.

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Im going to collect the car tomorrow morning. The car is blue, not sure what kind of blue, its not too light but also not a dark blue, its a 1993 on a K plate. At the moment its owned by a coach operator but he is also a mechanic so the car has been very well looked after for the last 9 years. Couple of small bits of rust about the size of a 50pence bit.

Now for the bad bit (maybe), when you drive the car and suddenly take your foot off the pedal you can hear a dunt, not sure if its diff or maybe suspension issue but Im pretty handy with cars so I decided to take my chance.

Will try to get some pics soon.

Cheers
Lee

The clunk could be the propshaft flexi bushes. the rear one normaly goes first. Fairly simple to replace.
