What a car, need I say more.
I bought a 190 M103 and she's black and beautifull from a very nice man in Southampton. She didnt cost alot either, just a grand.
I am a paid member of the Mk111 Supra Owners club of which I sold my soop to buy my merc and I am very pleased. Even though I have the 2.6 M103 its not as quick as my turbo supra but strangly enough I found myself cruising along the motorway on my way home at 60 miles an hour and loved it. If I was in the supra I would have been hammering along at a ton or more, why I dont know.
So I hope this opens a new chapter in my life, just cruising along in one of the best built cars money can buy.
Oh by the way where can I get a replacement back box from. All I seem to find are exhaust for all the other engines but not the M103? Genuine or aftermarket.
Many thanks to you all.
George

Interesting move from a Supra! What year was your Supra & why did you make the change? Like what you say though... it's just not very becoming to thrash one of these around like you would something with more sporty intentions! And it is weird to find that joy can be had from driving without triple figures on the dial! Hope you love your 190e & the new style of driving that comes with it! Btw, manual or auto?

Hi and thanks for your interest. My Supra was a Mk111 1990 in grey which is the more sought after colour. And it was fast, being a turbo 3ltr beast. But I must say very noisey in the cockpit so unlike the 190. I took the family out today to a country pub and the journey was so wonderful, odd discription but I cant think of any other way to descibe it.
Instead of scaring the crap out of the occupants we all felt relaxed and happy with the journey.
Nice to use the manual box in one of these, best of both worlds I think. Silky smoothness and the pleasure of driving. Brilliant.
