Looks good, that rust hole avove the rear wing vent is identical to the one I had on my old 2.0, uncanny! Looks like it's had either 2 replacement front wings, or they've been polished ? |

Looks very nice and clean, and that drop looks nice, have you any plans for the wheels? As for the rust you can take your rear screen out as it is not bonded, this would make it easy to grind away the rust and weld in a new piece. While the rear screens out you can go on the hunt for rust. Very cleans car and polishes well. Lewis |

Didn't repair it, pased the car on to my dad, would be best to remove it though to do a proper job You'll note the rust has swollen the window rubber, so it needs removing to treat that area.

Oh well done sir, an L-reg 1.8 is the only way to fly
Are they 16x8J 8-holes? I fookin' love those wheels. Definitely would like a set for mine, they look awesome with right tyres. This car has a slightly stretched look to the tryes, my guess is 205/45/16. Nicely lowered, like yours! ![]() I must say, i think the previous owner of your whitey may have been caught cheating by his wife, and had revenge exacted upon his Merc! Good project mate, welcome

I edited my post above for you. Beware, 205/45s are technically a bit narrow and may look stretched. My 215/50s rub a little, i will be going either 215/45 or 225/45 next time round. As your car is dropped i think you could get away with 215/45s if you space the front wings a bit. Not much choice though - check out BlackCircles, MyTyres or eTyres for cheap online deals. Get them mail-order delivered then take to local tyre yard for fitting/blalncing
