Hi everyone, I've just signed up...and taken delivery of my 1989 2 litre petrol 190. Its done just over 100,000 miles, and cost me the grand sum of £500. Probably the best money I've spent in a long while. Few creaks and groans - mainly front right steering rods and some grinding at the rear - seems to be a regular topic here, but she's in for a service soon. Good service history to around 89k, averaged around 6k a year for the last 15 years, so just about run in. Does 85 without a problem, and runs sweet as a nut. I'm in heaven. so...how do I post some pics to show you ? |

just get her looked over - and loved up with a service. I've got the standard rust hole in the nearside rear pillar, and a small piece on the front of the bonnet that wants looking at. No aerial, some switches not working, brakes want changing, new exhaust.....so start slowly anf build up...but the body, arches everything else very sound...so really pleased..... might be a while before I graduate to a serious 190 tho... :>) |
