MOT; My 190's MOT

Hi I can't believe it I was so worried about taking my Merc in for an MOT because I haven't had it all that long.

No it didn't pass but it only failed on a leak in the exhaust that can be welded up I'm so chuffed a 15 year old car that I really didn't have the time to check over or prepare for the MOT fared very well. respectively anyway.

:D should be all back tomorrow with a ticket to ride for another year!!

That's a 190 for you. My old 2.0 was never prepped for M.O.T except for obvious basics, wiper: lights: tyres etc, and never failed once :) just occasional advisories.

hey Julian same here no fail in ten years,mind you I do wire brush all the rusty bits underneath.Mine passed last time with a headlight on half power and the wipers coming on with the flasher.It was sorted soons I got home dodgy earth.The garage I go to for the m.o.t knows i wont bodge it,having said that I wouldn't expect a pass if it was something dangerous.I give him a tenner for a drink,and he dosnt fail it on somthing stupid,.Some garages just have you off :ph43r:
