HI

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good interior car care make. The reason I ask is because my 190 dash is losing its colour and I would like to rejuvinate it?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

In what way is it losing its colour?
Is it fading?

Any pics?

You could try this,

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/poo...g/prod_328.html

I`ve not used this but have used some of their other products and have never found fault, it`s` not cheap, so it comes down to how much you want to spend.

That looks really good - Poorboys is top-rated stuff, big in the US but very
natural-looking finishes that don't have that hideous 'honey-glaze' effect.
Carlton, other good brands include Sonus, AutoGlym and Klasse.
Search the web for the best deals.

I used to be a approved 'Meguiars' stockists when i was runnin SASH CAR CARE at local car shows to me , their 'trim detailer' is good if you want deep dark shine or if you want a flat deep colour with no shine apply one coat of 'natural shine' apply with a foam pad brilliant results

WD40 nasty silicones not good if any cars within a 100000 mile radius are gonna have paint soon , (does give a shine though, must admit) lol

Why would you want a shiny dash?
When i bought my car off my dad, he had left a can of 'Flash Dash' from Halfords
in the boot.
I went to town with it on the dash, doorcards and console and boy did i regret that!
Waaaay too shiny, looked like i had varnished the dash top & doorcards. Yuck.

AG Vinyl & Rubber Care is much more gentle, retains deep black but no blinding gloss shine.
There will likely be other similar products out there, Ash's Meguiars stuff sounds good.
It's important how it's applied, and whether you buff it or not ;)

I spend hundreds on detailing gear...
Sonus and Blackfire are by far the best you can get.

Poorboys stuff is OK. Never been a fan of meguiars stuff...Its so expensive here but in stores like Walmart, Autozone and Pepboys in the US its dirt cheap and not really that big in the detailing world.

I've got some dash wipes, armorall I think they are. They do a great job. At first they do look stupid and shiny but after a day it settles down and the interior looks proper shiny and new...

Autoglym Strawberry Sauce. ;)

Thats the puppy, their professional series plastic and rubber cleaner (Looks like Strawberry Sauce) is by far the best I promise. Really cleans the vinyl/rubber/plastic so it actually looks how it's supposed to. You'll be amazed at just how much dirt and grime is on your trim.

Back to Black has to be the worst on the market. And whatever you do never spray your mats with it! My dad it to mine. Not fun.

Mart ;)

WD40 does not contain silicones.
