:D well thanx for the warm welcome lads and lass, amfeeling like i made a good choice with the 2.6.Hope im not proven wrong!So heres my first prob,iv'e fitted a center console from a cossie,not got thelap timer,but not to bothered about that.what i'm more int in is wiring up the oil temp gauge,any pointers in the right direction,much apprecciated. :rolleyes: warned you's and this is just the start.

For wiring up the oil temp gauge you will need to have an oil temp sensor obviously but in terms of console wiring, I think the wires used to illuminate the heater controls are also used to illuminate the guages, but there might have to be another cable coming from the clocks to power them, not too sure.
