I've yet to see a Carlsson 190E in existence anywhere, online or in the flesh!

So what's the deal with the Carlsson? Have only heard reference to them on here before, not seen any spec or anything. Nice kit, how do the internals differ? Is there a connection with Saab or was/is Carlsson a tuner for different manufacturers? And that doesn't look too much like my engine bay, what was done to it?! :unsure: :lol:

I doubt it - 6cyl motor is the giveaway.
Iirc they did a conversion called the 190E Carlsson C35, with a 3.5l M103 or M104?

Merc Enthusiast, did a feature on one back in 2003 and that one was a 5.0l.

How I have missed this in all my years of petrol-headedness I don't know! Thought they were just Saab! :o <_< :unsure: :( etc.

the Carlsson and the Hartge"BMW" is said to be partners in the same company
