Greetings from the "Colonies"!
Found your great site while looking for photos of 190Es and had to join. I found my 1991 190E 2.6 while looking for a replacement car for my son after some moron spun around a corner and wiped his BMW out. He didn't want a Mercedes, but since my BMW 325I was taking a dump on me I thought this would be a nice replacement since it has a 5 speed stick. I've always liked the looks of the Baby Benz and the price was right. I've had it for 4 years and it JUST turned 150,000 miles. It's bone stock, and everything still works. I'm told it's a bit rare for the States, since it has traction control, load leveler, and 6 speaker radio. The local dealer says it's the Sport model.

I'm only really here for the Kitchens

welcome to the forum !!!!

'load leveler' that sounds like SLS (self levelling suspension).. Some (not many in the uk) 2.6s did have this option.

Sport model ? Sportline perhaps ? Post pics of it perhaps including the inside of the engine bay and your questions will be answered.

SLS bottle is under the bonnet.

Enjoy this crazy online 190 world :)
