Morning All, I need to get my front bumper off to clean the car but I can seem to find any bolts holding it on. Got the rear off no problem using the haynes bible but its lacking in pics/info for the front. 1) Do I need to jack the car up to get the front off? 2) Where are the bolts and how many in total? Many thanks Guys |

How you doing, still going with the 16v kit? Anyway to remove the bumper there are two bolts either side in the wheel arches, you will need to reach round and inside you should see a bolt that holds the side of the bumper on (122), be carefull as these tend to be rusted on so just spray a little wd40 then you can take it off, the rest should become clear. ![]() Lewis |

look inside each wheel arch toward the bumber and you will see two 17mm nuts and one 13mm nut behind the lower end of the wing. |

I have just removed mine and took a few snaps along the way:![]() Look under each front wheel and you should see 2 13mm bolts holding the bumper onto the body. Once undone the bumper pulls forwards, so take care as it is a bit bulky etc. Don't forget the one at each end as listed above. ![]() Best to have a blanket etc to lay it on. Or a nice rag rug like I have (or like my missus did have in the kitchen!) ![]() |
