Just like to say Hi to everyone.
I have a Greg 2.5 cossie
Can anybody help with my wineing diff, I think, it sounds like one of the springs moving on its mount, the wheels slightly juder when pulling off, this only happens sometimes and not always. Or can someone surgest somewhere to get it fixed,I live in Cheltenham.
Chheers Paul.

Hello and welcome B)

It could well actually be a broken rear spring as its not uncommon for these cars to break springs. Also id check the rear multi-link mounts and bushes, this could cause the rear wheels to judder about.

Only suggestions you understand as its hard to diagnose from afar :)

Is it a judder from the wheels or is a single clonky knock which only happens when you let the clutch out quick as this could be diff slap of a worn diff.

Paul sounds to me like ths shocks filling back up on the self leveling suspension the rubbers have become hard with age and are rubbing against the metal makeing a grumbling noise as they move, have a look around the seals for any fluid leaks. Good luck Smokey
