Hello! This is what owners clubs are for - we've all benifited from other's experience, so we pass it on ourselves. You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours kind of agreement. Nice looking car! I have a brand new IACV for a 2.5-16v, I don't know if it's the same part as the 2.0 though... Someone will tell us if the part numbers match or not. |

Not sure ran the V.I.N to see if it was listed in options but no mention of it, I do have option 362 but the description is blank? I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it James |

hi there Watfordmerc, nice motor !! Any chance of a pic from behind so we can identify the spoiler, if its got a brake light in it its probably a hella spoiler. I could be wrong but the only amg ones I have seen are the ducktail and the small bmw e30 style lip ones (but obviously much nicer )your praise of the furum is much appreciated, we are just a bunch of chaps and chapesses sharing what we know but its great to hear when we help others

Too dark to take a picture at the mo but it does not have a brake light in it and I'm certain it looks the same as the one in the "pinned" bodykit clips thread? |

Yours looks like it is wider than the bootlid and extends over onto the top of the rear wings. The one in the body clip thread is the 16v spoiler, the ends of it actually bolt down to the bootlid so it doesn't extend any further than the width of the boot. The corner on yours looks a tad more rounded as well. You can see what I mean about extending over the wing here, this is a 16v one :- http://i21.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/bc/a9/3406_1.JPG |

That spoiler looks just like the one on my dads(mb190e) 190LE with a Carat bodykit. Maybe it is a Carat spoiler?![]() It has this logo underneath, on the o/s when you lift the boot lid you can see it: ![]() ![]() Or was there another spoiler made the same style as this? Nick |

Pity you haven't got the rest of the kit, but the spoiler is worth a bit on its own to the right buyer, thats if you want to sell it? Pretty rare! Are you coming to Brooklands? Welcome by the way! |

Thank you Lewis, It won't be coming to Brooklands though, head gasket required, and other work. Maybe next year I'll get it back on the road and bring it to a gtg. |

Seriously, your car looks very nice, but although this meeting is about the 190 it's also a great chance for everyone who turns up to get to meet the other members and talk W201 and perhaps discuss ideas for some gtg's for next year. Regards Colin |
