And put a little masking tape over the nozzles next time you wax the bonnet. (that's a note-to-self, too )

I'm finding it quite hard to navigate the site but to clarify,I have owned a 1989,190 E for 8 years. She has done 170,000 miles and every M.O.T. the jets are blocked again. I also have an E 280 ,same thing as well as my C240. |

Col, you're an obsessive! I used to have an old Healey which had really a primitive washer layout, but the output was q. powerful; you could rotate them 360 degrees so I set one to point at the screen between the wipers and the other to fire straight upwards at about 70 degrees. Whenever one of those asylum seeker plonkers decided, at some intersection, that they were going to clean my screen (which I found irrationally irritating) I used to let go with it. |

mine do .. i think they all do tbh but cant say for sure .... ow many of them work tho ??????? the recomended temp for washer jets is 29 degrees now you may like yours at 22 or 23 but that aint rite it should be at 29 as an optimum and 27 is acceptable........lol ok last paragraph is a wind up.... but how do they test them there must be a recomended temp etc same as the door lock and the mirrors... etc see ideally you have a low pressure system from your cooling side of things feeding a supply to your washer bottle etc lol |
