hi names jamie and i just picked up my first ever merc. a 190E 2.0l will try to get pics up very soon . i build drift cars at my company but have always loved the 190 so i just had to ,come time for a new car . kind regards jamie |

sounds great, 17"'s are perfect for the 190, i wouldnt go any larger. |

Partly but also you get alot of rubbing, people have fitted 18's but you have to fit the lowest profile tyres and there not great over bumps, plus the speedo is way out, stick with 17's they fill the arches out and ride great. SLS only came on the 16v's 190 but was also an option on 190 8v's but the chances of finding one with SLS over here are small... Heres an 8v 190 that was on ebay last year, this was the first i'd have seen with SLS so they are rare this also had ASD: ![]()

cool thanks just i want to get some lowering springs and idea were is good for these ?? brand price etc etc . as on the previous mot there was an advisery that the rear springs would need changing for what reason wasn't clear but its good excuse to drop it on the floor . |

18s into 190 will go !!! You need to roll the arches (couple of hours job) and the ride will be hard but its not really that hard. If you wnat 18s you can make it work. I had them for a while but dropped back to 17s. |

well i think im going to go 17" with a 35-40mm drop then as its going to be a family wagon so its gotta look good but ride nice to . not forgtetting im used to full race coilovers and solid mounted parts on my driftcar wich was my everyday road car also thanks for all your input guys

18s are much too big as well. Look all wrong except on an Evo 1 and 2. 17s and 16s look great however. |
