This is a fairly comprehensive list I found on TotalKitCar.com. Their goods and suppliers section has to be seen to be believed! Somebody has put in a lot of hard work to create the list!! A lot of these suppliers are overseas but will either ship to the UK or they have an agent! Has anyone converted their 190E to EFI? If so, how much? how hard? Good investment? In my opinion their is a lot of potential in the 2.0 engine but any sort of tuning needs an EFI! |

RobertE's mid-way through converting a 2.3-16, and I know Johan.C has converted both 2.5-16 and 2.3-8 engines to VEMS/OMEX/EFI. I think also that PhilJ's 2.3-16 had its K-Jet removed and replaced with EFI when it was owned by Zerocool on Jersey:

If you coverted to EFI could you get more HP out of the engine through the software that controls the injection? |

Yes, on most KE-Jet engines you will see a increase in both hp and torque. How much improvement depends on the engine converted |

when I converted the engine pictured above, last year it cost me just over grand in bits, and about a weekend of labour the power increase is noticeable, loads more torque and it revs more freely The guy I got the kit from in states was a nightmare to deal with, and I got the parts in spits and farts over the period of 3 months or so |

Just some quick questions, Is it possible to install some stages of this kit and keep the car on the road running at the same time? For an amuture like myself, how long would you reckon it would take to complete? Also, how reliable is the kit? I am very tempted to do this, but I need my car as I use it as a daily driver, so a couple of weeks is the max time frame I have. I guess a grand isn't too bad considering the potential benefits it could have. |

Hi Question for neil mostly, in the photo above i can see the new injectors installed into the manifold. I have some Bosch Reds (EV1 )that i just bought and when i place them into the manifold port they appear to press in just a little to far. Not sure its even an issue but wonder if the set up above has any kind of adaptor to suit. As for doing this in stages MDAVISION, i have installed the trigger wheel and sensor bracket and will monitor its integrity for a while before i go much further. This will cut down on eventual downtime and will be one less thing to worry about when the time comes. Thanks keith |
