Hi- bought my 1985 190E last week and joined this forum last weekend. Am slowly getting to grips with my 190!!
I have a couple of questions which I'd be very grateful if someone would answer for me!
Although the body is 1985, the engine is a 1.8 from a K-reg on about 90,000 miles.
1. What's the capacity of the radiator?
2. What are the best spark plugs to use?
3. Should I use a flushing oil to change the oil or just empty out the warmed up old engine oil. There seems to be a bit of debate about using flushing oil in old (er) engines!
Cheers.

1. Not Sure
2. Bosch or NGK
3. Unless the oils been there over the recomended service time, i'd just warm the engine and run it out.

Hello and Welcome James B)

1)The cooliong system i think holds around 8.5 litres and the rad im not too sure...
2)As metioned Bosch are best to use and keep within the manufactures spec..
3)Dont bother using flushing oil, just run the car up to temp, remove the oil and oil filter, replace oil filter and put fresh oil in, use any good 10w 40 oil. the system holds 5.5 litres BTW
