Looking for 190 as a daily driver and came across this one, what color is that?

http://www.blocket.se/vi/13523298.htm?ca=15_s

Have a look at some of the other 190s currenty for sale over here. If you would like to know how much they are in Pounds, divide sale price with 13,23. For example the above car is priced at 19500 SEK, 19500/13.23=£1474

Oh by the way milage is often written out with "mil", this is not imperial miles, 1 mil is 10km, so a car with 20 000 "mil" on the clock has covered 200 000 km

great link, but according to that one. Night Green was only available to 12/89. This car was a 91, wich only leaves to different darke shades of green, Malachit and Achat.

(It was a long time since it down at 10-11 SEK, around 1990. Here is a link to SEK/GBP exchange rates, dates back to 1859. X SEK for one GBP

The above link is slightly flawed in that a good few colours are off by some way.
I don't expect DuPont-standard paint chips, but colours like Barolorot, Bornit ad Almandinerot are so far away from their actual hues it's a bit misleading...

Anyway, im skipping the green one and going to have a look at this one tomorrw.

Its 85, 2.0 in a lovely Ascot Grey (751) :D, 5-speed tranny, power steering, rev counter, central locking, electric right mirror, heated rear window, headlamp washer/wiper, heated seats. Not many boxes ticked when this one was orderd

Its only done 125 000 km, 2 previous owners. summer and winter tyres, passed its MOT recently. has had full corrission protection.

Its for sale at local auto dealer, hes asking £1100 for it.

For some reason, old BMWs and Mercedes usually are bit scruffy looking over here. its usual the first owners that take care of their cars, its not unusal to find more then 15 previous owners on luxury cars that isnt very old., people just dont seem to care what it looks like as long as it works. Its a shame really, but its getting extremly hard finding good solid, w201s, w204s and also BMW E34s.

what we forget is that scandinavian car prices are extortionate !!!!!

well the tax is the cars are actually cheaper then here but time you add the purchase tax

it like 270% or something daft so a new car costing 20,000 would cost you 54,000 or similar i beleive maybe the amount is wrong but i know its extorionate

That doesnt apply in Sweden though, not sure about Norway or Finland. But in Denmark, when buying a new car you first pay tax 25% but they also add a registration fee of 160%.

But for me as a Swede its actually cheaper to buy a new car i Denmark then it is in Sweden, since i dont have to pay the registration fee when im exporting it to Sweden, just the 25% sales tax is added to the price.

Thats WAY cool!

Much rather some mega spot lamps than wrapping the car round one of those million trees, or a deer!

Imagine how much RWD fun you'd have with proper winter like that :driver:
