Garrett t3/t4 hybrid, 3" down pipe with dual 2.5" (inches), just getting ready to install a LSD ASD diff. lookin for getrag 5sp, 2.5 16v steering box, and also the wiring harness for the ASD so that will work in my car, soon to put alcohol/water injection in intake, and EFI with aftermarket ECU.

I have to hear more about this!

What aftermarket ECU is it using and who did the rolling road tuning?
16v steering box is a good idea as it's quicker (2.3 16v steering box will also do the job too I believe?).

I have yet to decide if the ASD really makes much difference in my car (2.5-16) despite trying to find out in the recent wet weather. Not sure if it's worn or perhaps the operation is quite subtle. It seemed noticeably good in snow however...

ASD might be a tough one to get hold of for a 2.6 have you had any luck? On a 16v the pump drives off the exhaust cam. But I'm guessing on a 2.6 the cam won't be adaptable to a 16v pump. Ah then again, plenty of 300Es had the ASD so you can probably use the ASD from one of those.

anyway let's hear more!

I'd stick with LSD myself as the pump is needed to work not only the sls but the ASD, and you will have to install all the pumps the oil hold/container etc and all the lines to the diff.

Sounds interesting what fuel rails will you be using and what t.bodies?
Pictures please....

I think I'm gonna use the Megasquirt for my ECU, and I think i'm gonna relieve myself of the extra work and not put the ASD in it. There is a guy who is on ebay that is selling EFI kits for the 16v's and he's making some of the stuff for my 2.6. This is still an ongoing process... I'll post more pics soon! I'll have to do it when it's not raining or snowing. right now because of using the stock fuel system I am only running 8psi, but I hope to put the alcohol/water injection on soon. There's a guy I now running 300+hp on 8psi with the a/w injection and everything else stock! So there's definitely some good performance coming up soon... but, it might take me a bit longer than I thought since I just got laid off from work. lol

Soon, soon it will be done! And this will be a screamer!!

Oh yeah I was told the 350 sdl crank will work in this giving it a bit more power, so I plan on doing that and getting a performance cam and port and polish the head, with bigger exhaust valves and springs. might bore out the pistons a bit, but not like the brabus 3.6, don't want to blow it up lol. When it is dyno'd I will post it here.

Would the 350sdl camshaft work? I'm not too familiar with this motor.

Yeah I've heard something about using crankshafts from the 350 diesel S-class but just glanced over it, but I'm fairly sure was not a model sold in the UK which might not help.
