Just a quickie to say hi respect.gif

Hopefully picking up my new manual 2.6 tomorrow. I'm buying as a drift project. Its just about stock so first off I will strip it, lower it and fit some bucket seats. Then weld the diff

Its the norm to use Jap cars and BMW 3 series but I thought I would try something a little different. And the 190 looks absolutely superb B)

This is my inspiration, is it owned by anyone on here?

No doubt I will be along to pick your brains. Looks like a great forum this :driver:

Cant go wrong with a 2.6 manual great cars. i would'nt recomended welding the diff, i read up about doing it on tramp drift. If your only gonna use the car for drifting though then it should'nt be a problme.

First time i've seen the above car so dont think its anyones on hear.

Welcome to the site, sounds like a nice project, stick some photos up as you go along for us to see :)

Also anything that comes out you could put in the for sale section - sure you'd get interest for any bits coming off it.

i dont know if anyone is gonna pick this up. the 190 you talk about using for the drift car, i dont suppose it could be my old one? i sold mine to a bloke recently who intended on using it for just that. it was a black 1987 190 2.6 manual.
cheers
