I've been leaving in north Watford for over 5 years and I'll tell you this is not something that usually happens here. Ok the car was parked right at the end of the road close to the high street of which on a friday night has all sorts of people coming out of local pubs and from the town center. I've parked on the spot many times as do my neighbours because there are so many cars on my street you will be very lucky to get a spot in front of your own house especially on firdays after work.
Just wanted to share this with you good people here. Berts.

Oh my god that's heartbreaking!
Bloody awful!
I really hope this gets sorted for you and doesn't cost you too much cash.
People do the stupidest things when they're drunk, damaging cars is shocking.

Just one minor thing - why was your aerial up (I assumed they're all electric)?

That's terrible, I can't believe people behave like that, being drunk is no excuse. I dread the day I find someone doing something like that as I'm not sure how restrained I'd be. People like that deserve a good kicking, it's the only way they'll learn.

I live in a town centre & have had countless cars vandalised. Just because you live in a town centre you shouldnt have to expect stuff like this. It would only happen in this country...

Ref aerial, you can get replacement insert, there's one on e-bay

Check MB main dealer though, they might be cheaper, not sure.

Of you can go for a whole new unit.

Just took the car in one of the RAC autowindscreen workshops which apparently is just a few roads away from me coz they can't do it outside in the rain. They say they would try to get it ready today so I hope they keep their promise coz getting my 2 kids to school and shooting to work is proving much more challenging especially in the rain lol.

That doesn't look like drunken fun to me, I think you've got an enemy mate, if it had been drunks surely they would have run off after throwing the brick once and not picked it up and had another go! I would think hard who you may have pissed off and then go and give him or her a good kicking.

Thats what I'm thinking too, but I just can't think of any as I'm a family man and get along well with people around my area.

Perhaps it's just jealousy, maybe he's got a ford or something similar?
Hope it don't cost you too much to put right, I know a good paint shop if you need one.

Got the windscreen done on Wednesday and I will sort out the rest in the new year. Had to pay RAC autowindscreen £60 excess though.
