Always wanted a Merc 190 and now I have one. Bought this from ebay for £750 and she has been well cared for by previous owner. No rust spots and engine is smooth as hell. Its Merc 190E 2.6

I was looking to buy the car for sale by russtherussian but he never replied back so I guess the car has been sold.

Was going to rip out the cream leather seats, alloys and the big merc grill and put it on mine.

That was my initial plan but I guess the guy has now sold it.

A full kick down on the car is awesome, its like the car is going to take off and its so smooth, I love it.

Yes it is sitting alittle too high. I want to lower it but before I do wanted to ask afew questions. Remember I want to get a 16V or AMG bodykit in the future.

Can I fit 18" alloys without it scraping aginst arches or anything else?

If I was to get 18" alloys will I still be able to lower it and by how much?

If 17" better than getting 18" alloys? If yes how much can I lower the car by?

Is the Koni suspension the one to get?

I live in Essex and have a place called Elite on the A13 near me. Can I get the car lowered there or can someone advise me to go somewhere else?

Thanks

17" are perfect, ET 30-40 suits the 190 best, IMO ET 35 is best...
No need to go larger than 17", they fill the arches but do sit close to the bumper so any lager you may need to cut your front bumper back or put some washes on there to push it out alittle...

40mm is fine, spax and Koni do good springs...
