Hi guys, I got my 190D about a month ago and plan to run on veg oil. I've run a Peugeot 106 over summer, but I want a classier ride. Anybody else out there doing this? |

there's a few of us running on veggy oil.................and we have all gone down slightly different paths me = i just bung it in,only veggy oil in the summer,in the winter mixed 80/20 with either kerosene or diesel kentronix = invented a heater method and to quote mercedes enthusiast magazine(it seems the future of eccentric british ingenuity is in safe hands)
190D-2.5 = went the whole hog and paid for a full twin tank conversion, similar to a LPG conversion if you look through the posts you'll see all the information you need

Thanx Shrekky, I'll try the single tank method first. Are you using SVO (off the supermarket shelf) or WVO (used stuff)? What's a good filter for WVO? cheers, |

i use SVO............as for filtering WVO kentronix is the man for that,he puts in his car whatever he can get his hands on..... lol but i believe he uses a fine water filter set up,to filter his WVO down to 5 microns, which by the way is finer/or just as fine as the filters in our cars
