My exhaust is fine, but i need more sound
I don't want it sounding like a Golf, i just want that metallic snare (is snare a real word) that some Alfa's and offcourse Ferraris have... So what do i need to get? It's for a 190E 2,6 running stock... Sorry about the english, i'm from Denmark

Hello and welcome You can get a stainless steal exhaust made up Or buy a back box like a Remus one to add a lot more depth and tone in the exhaust note... ![]() Lewis |

I put a powerflow exhaust on my Cossie which makes rather a good noise; I think you can change the sound by altering the tailpipe a bit; in the old days we all used copper tailpipes, but someone told me they were illegal now

Stainless steel will give the exhaust a metallic crackle although a properly fitted Powerflow exhaust can be tuned to the sound you like by fitting the correct back box. The guy that fitted the system on the red 2.5 16 put up about 6 so we could choose the sound. We went for rumble at low revs to DTM at high revs! I dont think they have any outlets in Denmark but you may have some alternatives. Failing that, hop on a ferry! UK agents fit them while you wait! Powerflow exhausts! |

Powerflow sounds like a nice solution... But i don't want a rumble, i like the silent drive i have now
Just want a bit of a snare outside the car, for passing crowds
