Hello Guys,

I own a 190e that was my grandads from new and the other day I found a brochure/sales/spec book in as new condtition from 1985!
It has info on all the 190 models apart from the cosworths and evos :(
I'm not sure if any of you lot are geeky enough to appreciate it but if you are let me know and I'll post up pics of every page for y'all.

Thanks,
Dave

Yes, would be a good idea!
We have one for the 16v's so would be nice, also the pictures could be useful to use in the banners and on site etc...

If you could and dont mind, i think it would be great!

I too would be interested.
It would nice to compare. I purchased a 1983/4 190 brochure which came with a copy of a price list of options believed to be from 1983/4. I also have a 1983 to 1987 Haynes manual all from the bay of E.

No scanner Im afraid guys :(

I have access to a few scanners though so maybe if you want a couple of specific pages I can scan them in at a later date.

The photos are far from perfect but I'll get them up asap :)

Same as mine, good reading isn't it. Thanks for posting the pics - maybe a mod can move to an appropriate place :) The mercedes breakdown still makes me laugh with those red lines when the car is stationary

I noticed that. Strange how my grandads 190E was the first gen and he kept this catalogue. Perhaps he was thinking of upgrading when the new one came out.
There could well be alot of other things like this that I havent found yet.

I have a unused spare key (just the metal part) sealed in plastic and both original keys with leather holders with the merc sign on them. They seal with a popper and the key rotates out of it. If you know what I mean? sorry for the poor description.
I've got the original dealers tax disc holder and unused first aid kit

I've got those too! Do you have the spec list - interesting reading for all the extras. THe key in the leather may be a valet key.

DaveO - My god! Has anybody ever sat on that rear bench?!
Truly outstanding, I love that fabric (and its black counterpart).
It's nice how the pre-facelift Cloth interiors have MB-Tex/Leather sides to the seats and headrests, kinda wish they'd kept that detail. They're velour in the later cars.

The car really is fantastic. I have personally owned it for a year or two and have done about 200 miles in it! :) Its got a damaged front wing but apart from that it is faultless. Not even a stonechip on the car. Mileage is 43K full merc SH.
My other car is a E30 bmw and I prefer the way that drives and I have a mr2 for daily driving so I rarely use the 190. :(

Keeps it looking good though :)
