So I got sent to McUpchucks to get her a McChicken Slimewitch and a couple of shakes, On the way and the way back I put my foot down and it wouldnt rev up, sort of hesitated as if somthing was lacking then it went fine, It did it from the lights a couple of times. I have recently replaced , Plugs, leads, dizzy and arm as well as used injector cleaner to get low emmisions for the MOT I have a feeling that the injector cleaner has losened some crud from the fuel filter and that is coming through causing the hesitaion. Any other Thoughts on what this is please? |

Fantastic, Thanks. I knew it would be hiding somwhere. I just did it, not a difficult job just annoying as I had the car jacked up onto blocks and it started pissing down and I got soaked. Tools needed 10 mm socket to remove the 3 nuts that hold the panel in place. 17 mm, 19mm spanner to remove the nuts from each end of the filter, dont lose the washer, + screwdriver to losen the bracket holding the filter in place Remember that petrol will dribble out so have a handy container ready, I used a empty 4 pint Milk carton with the side cut out, its not much about 1/2 a cup Difficulty 2/5 Time 1/2 hour Crap in eyes 5/5 Stinking of petrol and geting told off by ones Wife/Girlfreind/mother 5/5 |
