I'm only really here for the Kitchens

My car has been running incredibly well recently, I am so happy with it.
I thought I would rig up the camera at the speedo and get the 0-60.

Several problems. I hadnt realised quite how bright the sun was today so you cant see the speedo. Plus I had forgotten the rear can loose traction (can be heard when counter says 9 secs left) changing to second so I stopped at 50, it is a 50mph road afterall.

Anyway, the point where i hold off is bang on 50. Initial rough guesses seem good, I cant wait to get a proper 0-60. I wont know until I get to 60 but 0-50 seems like 5 or 5.5 seconds or something. Quicker than I expected. Yes its a flat road and in the dry.

Video not working...
I wonder how it would compare to a 2.3...

Still thinking the 2.3 would be quicker as its lighter, but the torque of the 3.0...
Hmm...

That does pull rather well, another video in better conditions would be great!

yep, I know, nice to hear the loss of traction though, and even with the standard 2.6 exhaust I love the sound at high revs.
I actually have a full 5 minute vid of me burning around, and I trimmed this it so you dont see much of the road, I only really want the speedo to be seen :ph43r: :driver: :ph43r:

yep, the 3.0.

Engine wise no mods, standard 300e engine, although it was skimmed so the compression is higher.
