options
1) replace whole pannel off scrapper??
2) cut and weldin some new material??
3) see the stealership for new parts??

I've got the same problem and tbh i'm going to give these a try as they are only about 20 miles up the road from me. For £11.20 it has to be worth the risk.

When are you going to doing these? as i might try and pop over and see them in a couple of weeks, at least i'll be able to see the quality of the panels before i buy and you never know try and get us some discount!

i have these rear arch bits. will be fitting them early next month probably.

they are very thin (thinner than standard panels i think) , even the sills i bought there seem thinner, or it may just be because they arnt attached to a solid base or painted that they seem thinner?

anyways, they arent especially cut very well :S but i guess that comes with the price.

ill post up pics when i get mine done.

should really have gotten some pics when chrome off but mine slightly worse than that

but def not gona head to dealership then the body shop i head to is where the merc and bm garages send their cars to get done but if you go straight to him and pay cash its a lot cheaper so he should be able to handle a rough cut part and still make it look good you cant see where my brother lost half the front end of my ka one day better than new if you ask me

I fitted a Beevers arch to mine and it fitted perfectly, even went onto the wheel arch in side the door and down to the sill.

In the process of repairing my arches on the rotten cossie...inners were U/S as well so I got the inner panels from Merc for about £50 a side the outer ones are pattern replacements at £25 a side. THe previous owners had bodged the thing that much that the arches and plastic lip came off as one big lump. took some chiselling with an old screwdriver to get to the nuts on the lip ...
I will post some piccys when I get the nerve to get the grinder fired up!!

How easy is it to weld the rear arches on? Do you have to cut out the old arch in the same pattern as the replacement so that it fits good?
