Loving the pics. Cars look well cool B) notice every one has a different idea on the front grill. They all look awesome.

Didn't realise your car was so low Kenny, the stance is spot on

Great pics! Looks like a nice day for it. Neil that grille really looks great when you see it beside some other 190s for an idea of the difference.

Cars look great lads, nice one :)

That was FUN!
Great to see Kenny & Robert, cheers for the beer :)

Kenny's 3.0 really is as low as a snake's belly. It took him rather longer than me to get across that car park, I can tell you  Hell of a presence on the road, I really like how consistently dark it is.
Robert's Smoke-Silver 2.3-16 has blossomed into a beautiful swan, the refreshed & polished paint and new wheels/tyres set it off perfectly. Never really paid attention to tyre designs before, but those Contis are handsome.

Amazing end to what started out as a slightly dull day.
Really nice pub with gigantic beer garden, and a wonderfully huge car park with a nice 'bright' floor...

The car park isnt owned by the pub so I figured we would be safe.

Looks like a good, if small gtg ! I was hoping to make it myself, but for boring domestic reasons was unable to do so.

Next time for sure.

ps, does this mean somebody owes me a beer ? :D

Ooh! I think I need to see it next in the metal. It's eye-catching and not unattractive in the pics. Withholding judgement for the moment.

Are you going to stick with it, Neil?

Not necessarily, I want a good standard original to keep with the car.
If I sold the car, it wuold be with a standard grille, and i'd keep this smoothed painted frame.
One of those 'spares' that's nice to have lying around, like an alternative set of wheels or lights I suppose.

I'd agree with that.
There's something really 'pure'-looking about Smoke & Astral Silver valvers - I thought this when Robin's 2.5-16 passed me the other week, and tbh Michael's 2.5 has been a fave of mine for ages.

Only 3 cars but the variation is wicked isnt it.

I cant help noticing the mini stone hendge in the 3rd pic down, I have to point out I didnt spend ages arranging that.

Anyone up for another just start a thread, its under 2 minutes from my house :)

Thank you very much!

Tbh, I wasn't sure about the colour when I bought it but I rather like it now; the ride quality is marvellous with the Evo1 wheels (or perhaps it's the tyres) and once I've sorted out a few tiny rust issues (the usual places) and plugged the air leak then I'll be happy with it.

I can visualise keeping it until the petrol runs out...
