Ah, the Senna is Jags mate isnt it?
Really want a 702 merc now, stance looks spot on, like the front end.

That Golf looks great on the R129 wheels, great pictures.

Didnt go blind from the hombrew, thanks for waking me up, giving me a big glass of it and then legging it Kenny.

A great time, The weather for the show was great it was just a shame we had the wind (possibly due to Phil`s sausages) and rain just before and after.

Did anyone else feel completely and utterly knackered after Saturday?
I nearly fell asleep at the wheel on the M1, and burst out laughing when I saw how sunburnt my face was
Great to see everyone, and finally meet DAVE!!! (and Carl, and Marv, and Hugh, and a load of other members!)
Really good turnout, apparently the organisers told Steve that if we'd have got all the cars lined up an hour or so earlier, we would have won Best Stand...

Also, can anyone tell me whose the nice Almandine 2.5-16 on Evo-1s was?
It was there at the campsite when we rocked up about noon, but never parked up on the stand...

Rich, I have a picture of you being VERY lazy. In the back of your car ;)

I was nackered aswell, thats why i left around half 4 and my mate wanted to get back i was drinking red bull most of the day which helped. Nice to finally meet you aswell Neil (and everyone else).

Your car was looking good Tim, only just relized that it was yours. You were parked sort of in front of me, with your right side facing my bonnet.

Yea i think you were the fastest of the 190's, i was disappointed really i was expecting the 190's to blitz the track with sub 11 second runs

Thanks to everyone involved for organising such a great day out. Pete and I loved every minute of the day, even the trip back was cool, we had a nice run around Milton Keynes.

Today I was a little tired and felt quite sunburnt! I wish we had stayed now as the weather here has been pants all day and all I had to do today was outside jobs.

Pete and I were both wondering if that Lotus Carlton was genuine or not, did you see the state of the paintwork! And in that condition they're worth 12k aparently! Who would let they're 12k car look like that, I'd sort it out asap... A GSI3000 methinks?

Neill, thanks for some great photo's, hope you have some success with the clay and QD.

Yeah its genuine oright i just ran the plate "LOTUS CARLTON TURBO"

When i first saw it running down the strip i sayed to my mate i wonder if its real, as there such rare cars and all the ones i've seen for sale have been virtually mint.
Its in a bit of a sorry state alright, probably worth around £8k in that shape.

My over riding impression of the day, above everything else, was just how friendly everyone was, nothing was to much trouble for anyone and i think thats a massive credit to everyone who was there B)

I am dying to know how my time compares to the 16v's. I know I beat dans 3.0 manual time on the day but just missed on his time from last year. Next year I will take the bbq and camping junk out the car first :)

Cheers for saving my tent JensonGB and mercedescossy, that would have been just a bit annoying to come back to no tent !!

Mine didn't, the memory of a snapped timing chain is far to fresh in my mind :o but it'll go down it next year :)

Oh and my alternator had a mind of it's own, charge, not charge etc

Finally got round to loading up my photo's...

Many of us from London and the South East met up at mims services, and had ourselves a sizable pre-gtg...
the lineup already looking formidable.
With the smell of Auto Glym in the air, we considered the huge number that would turn out from other regions!

We all then convoyed to Retro - with most of us not getting that lost...

we set up the stand...
