OK, slightly lower turnout than expected, and darkness made the pics a bit rubbish but great to see you guys. Me, -V-, Jeremy, buggs and hitenB. Next time I wont bring a hangover with me :P

kind of, jeremy arrived roughly on time at 2ish. I was about 2:30, V at about 3. And buggs and hiten after we went in the pub to watch F1.

I hadn't realised my camera is so much worse in low light than my previous s5i. Anyone wanna buy an s40 ? :P

A great GTG despite the low numbers, but it had a more 'cosy' feel to it! :$ :$

I assume you mean my cars front end ? :P

Its got 40mm lowering springs designed for a 4pot engine with the 6 pot 3litre in it. It has sunk a bit since I fitted them so I think the springs may be sagging or cracked. I am a bit too scared to investigate :)

Its totally undrivable with anything but the 4 bump spring pads in. Shocks are bilstien sports. Rear setup is totally stock, I have the same springs and shocks for the rear but I just dont want to change the stance so am leaving it for now :)

I should probably point out that you cant actually see the london eye from harrow :) , I was adjusting the contrast to get the lights of london to come out and figured it could do with a little perking up :)

Shows off V's great headlights though, I am seriously considering some now.

That was one really good GTG.

Was great to see everybody, and eating/drinking , whilst we watched the Grand Prix ,tended to take priority,

With some great stories about our cars, especially Buggs story about his car going to Kenya & back , Via getting swept away in a river that runs through the family property.(! )

Highlights......

Buggs' car interior. ....like brand new.

-V- ..........wheels & grilla, & headlights.

Kenny's cars stance......tho' we couldn't see any more , coz he hasn't cleaned it since Retro lmao

HitenB, Came late & went early, so we neva got to see his car.(too busy eating at this point ;) )

Me.......I lost my keys, only to find that I'd left them in the ignition for 5 hours lmao

Lots & lots of 190 Talk.

Next stop Brooklands/MB world?

Standard? Far from it, (as you can see in the pic above with the lights on shot) ;)

They're a McCulloch HID Xenon kit, bye bye standard H4 bulbs! Like Matt said, after having these i would never change back to the stock H4s (unless it's MOT time of course! ;) )

Jeremy, i still can't believe you left your keys in the ignition in an open car park....... IN HARROW!! Just lucky the car was still there when we got back! Phew!! Also, you're getting Hiten & Buggs confused. It was Hiten's car who likes to swim in rivers!

Great day out though!

Thats my car. :D
It wasnt until I changed the exhaust at Powerflow , that I realised I coulda had a twin pipe.
It was an original single pipe.

I left off the twin tailpipe offered , coz it weighed about four kilos!

Adrian, was a shame you couldn't make it. Definitely make the next one though, yesterday was cool.

Jeremy - how come the aerial is on the other side? Not that seen that before!

No , neither have I

I've just got to be different, tho' it came with the car.

Thanks for all the nice comments,

For the next GTG I am thinking of organising a "Treasure Hunt" type thing , or maybe something that involves driving skillz........... :o

I think there must be stuff we can do, like 200 yard slalom against the clock, losing points if you touch the cones?...............then in reverse.........???????????????

We've got loads of brainpower on this site , we will think of something, somehow, someway, before the next one.....

We have to find ourselves a bit area to do it all on.
