1. My car is a 1983 W126 , so my car has no CAT ?
2. Can i get a straight through system ?
3. If i get a straight through system will the exhaust pop and bang and make flames ? :D
4. if not how can i get that ! :$

No it won't have a CAT.

If you want pops, bangs and flames, turn your fuelling up. (dont do this!)

You could, but it may make it rather loud! Every system is different. Whoever is making your system should be able to make it sound how you want.

Hello there russ,

Step one - Turbo charge your car
Step two - Turn up fuelling
Step Three - Fit a anti Lag system

Conclusion - Lots of flames and popping (rally style)

See link ;)

No, no cat. Not for U.K

2. Can i get a straight through system ?

You can get just about any system you want for any car If you shop about

3. If i get a straight through system will the exhaust pop and bang and make flames ? :D

Could well do. It will also be illegally loud.

4. if not how can i get that ! :$

Deliberately advance the timing too much. This will also make it run like a pig and ultimately damage your engine. ;)

I've even heard of people installing sparking deveices in the tailpipe to ignite unburnt fuel! That would make sense just aft of the manifold...

What I would do is just have backboxes and no other boxes, will sound nice and burble, yes it will be loud and it will pop etc due to the lack of boxes...

Hi

you can take out the resonator and just have the centre box and rear box...thats what I have...when I got my exhaust system made, I asked the boys to make me a centre pipe which runs from the down pipes to the rear box but I have only used it a couple of times as its too loud. if you fit your car with just one box you will probably fail your next MOT, specially if you go toa a really pickie mot station.
