somebody simply must add the amg kit, and full zender kit. For completeness perhaps the amg lip, zender and hella spoilers. This could be very useful for newbies who want to identify stuff. |

Right ok, lets start with AMG's offerings. First off we have the AMG widebody which was for the pre facelift 190. This consisted of front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler front wings and rear arches: AMG Widebody ![]() Also avaliable from AMG was a non widebody version for the pre facelift: AMG non Widebody ![]() Then we have the AMG kit for the facelift 190, which is known as the Gen II kit. This consisted of front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear boot spoiler often referred to as a 'ducktail': AMG Gen II kit ![]() ![]() Next up we have the Carlsson bodykit. They had two versions, one for the pre facelift which consisted of front and rear bumpers, side skirts and rear spoiler: Carlsson pre facelift kit ![]() ![]() Carlsson facelift kit ![]() ![]() Next up we have the various designs from Zender, usually consisting of front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear spoiler and also avaliable was the wider arch kit. With all these kits there must be at least one of each still left in the world who has got them, and as some are rare are they worth a few quid |

Well the custom ones especially, will be worth a fair bit and no doubt some would have survived either in the land of oil or with a collector. |

Great thread, i suggested one of these about 4 years ago but never got round to it. There are some there that i've not even seen before! Could people add potential suppliers or where to look for these or elements of each kit if known? Might help a few people out. How about "getto" (Sorry Boss Man Steve!) tried and tested body mods that look good also? Stuff like the Renault Laguna or E36 M3 Lip spoilers? Just a thought. My money is STILL on the 16v kit, i love it.

Matt, i have to congratulate and thank you for your posts in this thread - you are the bodykit king! ![]() However there is one that i can think of which you have missed off! And its this bodykit for the 190 by the company called 'Rude' - a very wide arches, sides and bumpers and huge spoiler i have only found a few pictures but i think you get the idea - this paricular car in the pictures below was for sale on ebay a while ago and sold for a stupidly low price, i cant remember it exactly but from memory i can say that it was a 2 litre manual, which needed some work (internally and externally), obviously white with green leather interior and some really nice wheels, and the seats were also very nice. It was magazine featured in its early years, when it had lots of decals on it. ![]()

Ok then thats a good call - Here are the 2 Leguna splitters. This is the more common one with the air vents on either side (On a cosworth bumper - rhysmangatmotorsport car) ![]() And this is the rarer one which is all smooth on a (standard bumper - Merc190uk's old car)

That car was a bit of mix and match Bart. The car is a cube now with the important bits taken off before hand. Part of this car lives on on my 16v And it has a bit of history as well as it was used for a rap video back in the day

Oh sorry Matt, you know too much! ![]() And Stempies i havent got a clue what bumper that is, one of lifes many mysteries! We could just call it a custom made bumper for now! ![]() I thought we would just add to this thread as we find other kits, so here is a 'Vestatec' bodykit for the 190. http://store.classicgarage.com/stylkitfor19.html

I love the wide version grille on some of these pictures. It really suits the 190. Just wondering if the car would still pass it's MOT though as it covers the fog lights in the headlights |
