16v sill cladding

Did a search but couldn't find it (but I know it'll be here somewhere!!)
How are the 16v sills attached apart from the screws that run below the doorline and the 8mm bolts that run underneath the car? Oh and the 2 bolts under the front wing cladding.

I've undone them all but still it won't budge. In my wisdom I wanted to move it 3-4mm forward because it is defintely not lined up right (my car definitely built on a Friday!); thought it would be easy but have even undone the couple of screws at the front that attach it to the wheel arch liner and it still won't go.
Don't tell me they're glued. Or if you must tell me that, tell me how to remove and reattach in a non bodging fashion!!

On the plus side my sills and jacking points aren't rusty at all which is a pleasant surprise...

There is also screws as the rear holding the sill to the upper "dog leg" arch trim.
Also in the front arch there are two fixing points there, it fixes onto the plastic piece of inner arch.

EDIT: To take the sill off you need to remove door cladding, you can do it without but you will ruin the paint as you pull it away and uner the doors.

Yes I found a metal clip with a screw through it attaching the cladding to some of the rear arch trim - this clip was already off in fact, and was the thing that gave it away that it was misaligned. Plus I've found the screws at the front that attach to the black plasticky arch lining. So I think I've done everything?

As for door cladding - I do not understand? I only want to slide the sill cladding along somewhat, not to remove it, so perhaps not aimed at me.

The weird thing is when testing it was loose, at some parts under the door you can prise it away from the body, at some parts you can't and that's what made me think it was glued??

here's a pic I found with more searching...
Posted Image

From Front to back I've undone
No. 224 at the front
No. 251 x 2
No. 227 there's about 12 of these
No. 224 at the back
Plus a million screws along the length of the sill holding the top on, which don't seem to be shown on this diagram. Either this or my car is a weird one.
Will get out there tomorrow and give it more of a go, looks like I'll have to take the whole thing off to figure out what's making it stick, oh well quick fix turns into a big pain in the butt as usual!

Its not glued on.
Just bolted on

Been undersealed before the car? the bottom might be stuck on due to that, or someone has had them off and then glued the top (under the doors) along the whole length to stop water getting in?

They are 100% no glued, if you are just sliding it along the door cladding doesnt have to come off.
