Bad luck, matey, it's happened to most of us at some point..................

Try GSF or Eurocarparts.

New Merc badge (if you a purist) £27 very easy to replace, remove grill from bonnet and twist bottom of old star at base, use of grips are a must and pop out of grill surround - do the opposite to put in new one - attach grill back to bonnet - just ensure that the bonnet catch is showing through grill on replacment

You don't need to take the grill off I've done a guide on how to replace with a second hand one as its a bit of a hassle

The little sh1ts! I'm so glad I now live in an area without such worries, although ever here some mornings I find triangle not quite pointing where it should be.

It's a pretty non-technical job, although a little fiddly with that spring loaded thing, long nose pliers very useful. When I did it, I had to take the grill off at the same time anyhow, and it's definitely easier with the grill in your lap rather than bending yourself into a contorted position with the bonnet in the air.

(As possibly the least mechanically minded person on this forum, if I say it's easy you can take that as a certainty!)
