I'm thinking of restoring my 190 to the factory standard.

This project is not very near to begin, but I really wish to have some tips from now on what parts can I find, what are the weaks of these cars and how much may become.

I'm willing that a lot of the body work will be done from me. Do I still find original parts from Mercedes for these cars? I really wish for the future to get all the things original.

How about the interior? Can I get a new one with the same colour etc? (including the dasboard and switches etc..)

Mechincal parts is not a problem I think so. Those unfortunately are not going to be made by me, but I'm really going to rebuild the engine as well from scratch.

She's in good nick right now, but I really wish to get her back to its factory standard.

I've still have the original tyres and hubcaps that she came with as new!!!

This project will start as soon as I could get another Merc and have a good garage to work in.

I have asked this early so that if things are hard to get held off, I would have time to start searching for and contact people.

Infact I'm thinking of getting all the doors brand new. Do I still find them?

The bonnet is still in good nick, just a very small in the middle were the spray is cracking a bit, but thats not a major thing.

I've got one of the wings not original I think so, cause on the passenger's side I have the same gap as Cyrs had on his. So I'm willing to get that new as well.

The interior must be new as well including the dashboard. Thats what I need new which I dont know if I can still find from Mercedes. Surely that mechincal parts are not that big problem!

And I'm willing to go factory to the full. This car has a lot of feelings to me that I want to get her back to its original condition!! And obviously barely using it!

But everything step by step..
