I'm suffering from condensation/ water in my nearside headlight unit which appears on the inside of the glass rather than the reflector. Anyone any idea where the most likely place it's coming in? |

Could be anything from a bad seal to a small chip or crack. |

At a guess through the seal between the light and backing...maybe try taking the light out and submerging it glass first in a bowl of water. You should be able to see any bubbles popping out.... |

if you take the back off and run full beams for a while you should be able to clear it out then make sure you refit the back properly might save having to take the light out |

My N/S one in the 2.6 used to mist up when i had my lights on in the rain. Once i got home or tow work i used to jsut unclip the back off and the heat from the engine would dry it out. Then i got back to it i'd just clip it back up and that would be that, till it rained again of course. |

Took the headlamp out, no obvious signs places where water/ moisture is getting in, also found silvering on the fog lamp is coming off. Ideally could do with a replacement headlamp. Are the new 'copies' any good? |

If you get more condensation then just put the headlamps on , for half an hour or so, the heat will burn off the water. jeremy |
