just put the car to bed for the night and have noticed that the central locking is not working! have i forgot to replace a pipe? or will it just work over time??? any help would be great. mark |

if you haven't replaced one of the pipes, you will hear the pump rumbling away! If there is no noise, i suspect you need to replace the box under back seat. The central locking is hydrolic. |

probably one of the pipes not connected properly! or you might of cut one of them by accident. The smallest hole will stop it from working! When you go to close the doors, do you hear the box under the back seat keep trying to lock the doors? |

not touched any of the pipes inside the car, all pipes i disconected fron the engine bay were inspected and replaced with new if needed. cant hear anything from the CL box under the seat. |

i had the same problem a while back and it was the pump, quick trip to merky bills and 40 squid later all working

There are vacuum pipes under the bonnet for the headlamp aim, this may effect it they arent connected. |

the pipes are under the carpets and through each of the doors to the door lock thingys! It finally goes under the back seat to a box covered in foam. This box makes the central locking work. Unless it's the fuse? |

not removed any pipes from the headlights..... what is the CL box's main feed of air pressure??? maybe when i disconnected the pressure pipe from the master cylinder it lost all of its pressure and may need to build up again. |

its electric, it produces its own vacuum....usual checks, fuse etc. |
