That'll be the sun. You will find that it will settle down if its kept out of the direct sunlight and heat for prolonged periods of time.

Ive got to repair my spoiler as the sun over the past few days has created some defects. Damn the sun.

I'm only really here for the Kitchens

hehe, I had that once. Its moisture that can get in. Then when you hit a really hot day it swells up. It only tended to do it on a really wet period followed by really sunny days. So after a few days of sun it goes down. My solution was to wait until it went down and then waterproofed whatever I could. It worked but I never knew if it was that of the conditions never quite happened again. It only did it a couple of times a year tops.

I waterproofed it by removing it (be really careful of the captive nuts, the foam can let go veary easily), then use pva on the foamy exposed bottoms of the legs. I basically painted most of it and wiped off excess with water so it only actually remains on the non painted bits.

As I say, I am not 100% sure its my fix that did it.

Thems exactly the circumstances of how my most unsightly bulge came about. absolutly hammered it down 2 weeks ago, then this week has been steamingly hot, and up pops the bulge

Il have to sort it when i get back from France.

From The Simpsons episode entitled 'Who Shot Mr Burns? (Part 1)'

lmao :D

Well it's now totally disappeared after sitting in the blazing sun these last few days.

It's nice to know i'm not alone, that there are other rear spoiler bulge sufferers out there, who also feel the same pain and anguish every time another attack of the bulge breaks out :crying:

:D
