just took my valver out for a blast..... got home and went to park it. so i put it into reverse and i nearly ended up in the back of the neighbors corsa! It idles at about 2 1/2k through all the gears, and in neutral and park. It's really no fun to maneuver now. and parralel parking is a no no cuz i'm too worried about smashing nto cars behind me any ideas?

bump! not sure what it is I'm looking for to sort it I'm sure its not a sticky throttle cable... It sits consitently at 2 1/2k now. I gave the throttle a good 'exercise' last night, but it's still the same. IACV? AFM plate need adjusting?

Hi check your throttle switch, if necessary push the little round ball towards the case of the throttle switch..you will hear a click. on the throttle cable you have a manual adjuster. see if that brings the idle down. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp?TP=1&F=201034&M=102.983&GA=722.410&GM=717.404&L=765.902&CT=M&cat=488&SID=07&SGR=135&SGN=03 see item 38 mazza |

Also check your OVP Relay, specially the fuse in it. That was the problem with mine. |
