hi all,

2.5 16v. top bolts on the engine mounts....can, just!, get a spanner on them, but far too tight....not enough room....

is there a special way, specific angle of attack, weird special tool?

just so tight under there........nothing else major has to come out does it?

They are quite a bugger aren't they? Especially the nearside one. I just about managed to squeeze my arm up from underneath and did them with the angled open end of a ring spanner turning it over after each turn to change the angle of the spanner head.

If you break your arm in 3 separate pieces you should be able to just about do it.

But being serious for one min. I managed to get at it(just) by feeding my arm up from behind it. You have very little leverage so use an angles spanner so you can turn it over after every turn to get more leverage. You can only tighten it a few mill at a time which is very annoying but i got there in the end.
